These light note, golden brown-bottomed cookies boast a perfect pop of semi-sweet goodness. Fantastic with Angostura & Orange Peel Marmalade! Made with flour, sugar, vegan butter, vegan chocolate, vanilla, and salt.

Chocolate City Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who doesn't love a good, old-fashioned chocolate chip cookie? This powerhouse cookie is packed with flavor from the perfect blend of flour, eggs,  semi-sweet chocolate chips, butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, baking soda and salt.


Vegan-Janie Loves Tea Cake

This tender pastry pays homage to Zora Neale Hurston’s most treasured love story.

Did you know Zora Neale Hurston grew up surrounded by citrus trees? I'm guessing they were mostly lemon and orange. So, let's talk about the lemons...The Zora & Josephine Tea Room Lemon Tea Cake transports us back to much simpler times when we all truly lived off the land.

Serendipity Sweet Potato Pie (Seasonal Selection)

Some of the best things in life come in small packages. The Serendipity Sweet Potato Pie is smooth and moist. Flavored with cinnamon and vanilla, these little bites make a sweet addition to any afternoon tea. Also made with sweet potatoes, sugar, butter, eggs, milk, and nutmeg.

Sounds like an R & B group from the 70s, doesn’t it? Well, this Doughbundt will certainly have your taste buds singing! Made with top shelf brown liquor and brown sugar, the Bourbon and Brown Sugar Doughbundt pairs just as nicely with your morning coffee as it does your favorite barrel. Made with flour, oat milk, oil, sugar, butter, bourbon, vanilla, baking powder, salt, rum extract, and natural flavors. 

Vegan--Chocolate City Chocolate Doughbundt

The Zora & Josephine Tea Room Currant Scone pays tribute to the traditional tea room experience. Made lovingly with currants, crystalized sugar, and a drop of vanilla, it is pleasantly sturdy and crumbly ball of goodness, and you’ll be tempted not to share! Also contains flour, buttermilk, sugar, butter, baking powder, baking soda, lemon juice, and salt.

Cranberry & Orange Scone

The Cranberry & Orange Scone is peppered with cranberries and orange zest. This light scone is soft and crumbly, and will melt in your mouth. Made also with flour, sugar, vegetable oil, cornstarch, eggs, butter, milk, salt, and corn syrup.

Vanilla Scone

Made with just the right amount of everything to make this pastry perfectly sweet and mouth watering, the Vanilla Scone is moist,

Room proudly serves these beautifully pink, delectable South American pastries. The Always Alfajor--named for Josephine Baker's famous song, Always, is wonderfully made with flour, egg yolk, confectioners sugar, honey, orange extract, lemon, baking powder, butter, guava, and white chocolate. 


Spicy Creole Chicken Salad Sandwich

Mardi Gras has officially come to your mouth, and who doesn’t love a good party? The Spicy Creole Chicken Salad Sandwich delivers Louisiana right to your door in this fleur de lis-shaped sandwich. Large event breads vary. Made with chicken, mayo, bell pepper, green onion, celery, jalapeno, mustard, honey, and creole spices. 

Egg Salad Sandwich

It’s an eggcelent approach to a tea room staple. Seasoned just so, and peppered with pickles on brioche, The Zora & Josephine Tea Room Egg Salad Sandwich will make your Aunt Agnes wish she’d kept hers at home next to that loathsome gelatin mold she won’t stop bringing to family celebrations. Cheese and Chutney Sandwich

Mango, Gruyere cheese and special spices hook up to transport you to another place and time. Though it’s become an absolute favorite in Britain over the years, chutney dates back to India, circa 500BC. Large event breads vary. Chutney is made with mangoes, vinegar, sugar, raisins, onions, garlic, and red pepper.

Tangy and timeless. Two favorite Eastern and Middle Eastern twists come together in this mango delight served with vegan bread.

It’s rich; it’s smoked; it’s creamy. A delicate blend of savory with a hint of sweet meets spicy, the Smoked Salmon Sandwich is both full-bodied and comforting. Made with salmon, cream cheese, garlic, jalapeno, and natural flavors.

Orders ship out on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays of each week.

Orders placed later in the week typically ship the following Monday for safety and quality.

Refund Policy

Orders scheduled for shipping must be cancelled prior to the time the order is shipped. There are no refunds for local deliveries, barring unusual circumstances. The Zora & Josephine Tea Room is not responsible for orders impacted in any way by “Acts of God” (blizzards, forest fires, floods, windstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, and earthquakes).


Proper Food Handling Instructions

The Zora & Josephine Tea Room is committed to food safety. Sustainable materials are used in most cases. Recyclable products are used to adhere to food safety guidelines. Items are packed in USDA/UPS/FEDEX-approved packaging with appropriate cooling measures. Sandwiches arrive with components separated to preserve freshness. Assembly requires about 10 seconds per sandwich.


  • All food should be frozen or partially frozen upon arrival.

  • Remove all food and prepare to refrigerate immediately.

  • Stir all sandwich contents. Oils and mixtures tend to discolor and separate during freezing. 

  • Remove the box(es) that read(s) “Pastries” and place in the fridge.

  • Remove the box(es) that read(s) “Sandwiches.” Assemble sandwiches and plate on a serving dish before placing in the fridge.

  • Food should stay refrigerated until tea time.


Tea Time Preparation Suggestions

  • Boil hot water for tea 10-15 minutes before your tea time.

  • Set up your cream, sugar, and honey prior to setting out the food.

  • Fancify your tea experience by:


      Pulling out the good china!

      Using cloth napkins! (Nice touch, plus better for the environment).

      Placing a bundle of flowers on the table.

      Creating or downloading a playlist that suits the occasion.

      Donning a hat, of course!
